First http://www.babycheapskate.com/ this site gives moms updates on baby coupons and alerts you to the best deals for the week on diapers and other baby products. It is free to use. AND they have a "group" that you can join to trade OR give away baby coupons. I am excited about this, because I HATE to throw away baby coupons; but I get a lot that I don't need.
I heard about the Just Between Friends consignment sale shortly after Lauren was born. The sales take place twice a year and they have all kinds of baby items: clothes, shoes, toys, etc.; plus maternity clothes. And everything is always in excellent condition! In fact, I have been able to find some things for Lauren NEW with the tags still on! I also have sold some items of Lauren's (mostly clothes) that she never wore because of her size not matching the season. You can look for a sale in your area by visiting http://www.jbfsale.com/ Consignors receive 70% of their sales.
I also have lately been finding some really good deals on ebay. I LOVE all things monogrammed and smocked for Lauren. (of course she does NOT wear these cute things ALL the time, just for church and special occasions!) Anywho, I typed "smocked dresses 12 months" into the search bar on ebay and ended up with several great finds...some were brand new, some worn only a few times (we know how that goes). In fact, I am not ashamed to say that Lauren's Easter dress was purchased from ebay and is so cute and was in perfect condition! Buying it new, I would have spend $60 at LEAST, but I got it for $15 and $3.95 shipping. It is blue and has bunnies and eggs smocked on the collar.
The last site I want to share is http://www.freepeats.org/ It is sort of an online consignment, similar to craiglist because you have to pick up the items that you want. You get a lifetime membership for $4.95 and you can list or find baby items and then arrange to pick them up. (sort of like recycling!)
How do you save money on baby necessities? Are there any other websites that you know of that would help save money? I really think that as moms, we should help each out!
With that being said; if you know any moms who use Huggies disposable diapers, post a comment, and I will be happy to send them some diapers and coupons!! :)

I love, love, LOVE babycheapskate! I also like checking the deal-a-day sites that she has linked from BC (mamabargains.com, greenbabybargains.com, babysteals.com, etc.).
While not specifically baby-related, I've also found southernsavers.com to be a wealth of information about saving money.
