the most important part....

Oh! How I have enjoyed reminiscing about the days leading up to Lauren's birth last year; and documenting it for her to read one day! Hopefully, all my wordiness has not bored my faithful readers to tears.

But I forgot to mention the most important part about the day that Lauren was born. Although those few minutes after her birth were the scariest of our lives (not knowing if she would make it or not...!!) we know that God allowed her to take that first breath.

In fact, we believe that He literally breathed life into her that day and saved our baby girl. We give HIM all the praise! We feel like He has given us this awesome responsibility of raising His child and then being able to lead her in the knowledge of His love!

Wow!

That's a BIG responsibility, and one that we don't take lightly!

And just HOW do we plan to do this?

Only by God's grace!!

"For you created my inmost being;

you knit me together in my mother's womb.

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made!"
