15 month check-up (updates!)

Here is Lauren at her 15-month check-up at Dr. Saji's office last Friday. She was a happy girl because they hadn't brought in the needles yet!
Anyway, she weighed in at 23.5 lbs (still in the 50%) and was 32.5" tall (96% +). Um, needless to say...she's tall.
Her pediatrician used the phrase "long and lean." Please, God, let her stay that way! :)
Knowing how scared she is of everything, I shouldn't have been surprised when she started having hysterics as soon as Dr. Saji put the stethoscope on her. And don't even get me started on that thing that the doctors use to look at their ears (otoscope?) She almost lost it at that point.
The shots didn't go much better. But, when they were over and I could pick her up, she calmed down pretty quickly. She loves her momma. :) (when her daddy's not around, that is!! HA!)
When we got home, we packed the car and headed for Birmingham. We stayed the night with Jason's brother and his wife in their huge house.
The next morning, we all loaded up in their van (which I would love to have one day) and drove to Mobile. It was a fun trip. Jason, me, his mom and dad, our 2 year-old nephew Logan and Lauren. Good times.
I will have pictures from the birthday weekend as soon as my SIL sends them to me via snapfish. (hint, hint Kelli!) My camera was conveniently left on our dresser, thanks to my helpful husband. But I forgave him. (almost)
Lastly, things are not looking good as far as Jason's job goes. They may be closing his plant after all. People from corporate were apparently at the plant today, calling employees in individually, offering some of them jobs at the plant in Wisconsin. Please pray for God's will for us. This is a very scary situation right now!!

THank you so much for your words of encouragement! Please know that I am saying a prayer for your family too. The unknown is scary. I hope things work out with his job.

Lauren is precious as always! Madison was around 50th for weight and 75th for height.. which seemed tall.. but Lauren is one tall lady!

We went to the doctor today, and Emma weighs 21.6 pounds and is 29 1/2 inches tall, so Lauren has surpassed her! :) She is a tall string bean!
