"pebbles" is in the house...and SNOW!!

This is what I did with Lauren's bangs last night when I couldn't take them being in her eyes for one more minute!  She looks kinda like Pebbles, but that's ok, because she can see and I can see her eyes!! :)  I probably won't let her wear it like this to church tomorrow, but as soon as we get home, it's going back!

(she is only pretending to "salt" and "pepper" her food...she actually didn't even eat anything on her plate last night, she just wanted to play with the condiments! HA!)

And this is the back of her hair- the mullet.  It's curling a little, but mostly getting sorta stringy because it's not all one length.  Yes, the time has come for another milestone for my sweet baby....her first hair cut!!  Hopefully, the weather will cooperate and we can get it done this week sometime.

Last night after midnight, the snow started falling.    Before we went to bed...this is what we saw outside!!!

Our trash can...

the bushes...

Today we bundled Lauren up to go out in the most snow she's ever seen!

She wasn't so sure....

Little Miss Priss didn't want her feet to touch the snow!!...

Lauren and Daddy (she was wearing 2 hats and her hood...plus 2 layers of clothes! :)

We got 6+ inches of snow!!

view down the street

the roof of our apt..

by the front door

I'm not sure if this poor little tree is gonna make it!
the driveway between our cars

We TRIED to make a snowman...but the snow was too powdery and wouldn't "stick"  Plus, it was FREEZING outside, so we didn't play for too long!

When we got back inside, Lauren amused herself in the drying rack...

and also the laundry basket...

I'm beginning to think that I need to teach this girl to do some laundry!!

She has also added a few more words to her vocabulary this week....

"moh" more
"dow" down
"puh" pull
"daw" dog

We have enjoyed our snow day, but are hoping the roads don't ice over tonight because we want to go to church in the a.m.!

I don't know how much snow your part of KY gets, but you'll need- snowpants and snowboots if y'all stay up there too long. It took me a while to figure that out. I would send Ada out to play in her tennis shoes, and then wonder why she was sick the next day. Being from Alabama and only getting snow once every 4 years, how was I supposed to know? Target has them cheap.
