Last night I finally got up the courage to try Day One of the 30 Day Shred.
I have heard that this DVD will kick your butt.
I set the DVD to Level 1. Thank God!
Being the wimp that I am, I made Jason try it with me. Ha! He didn't make it through the second round of push-ups! He kept saying "Sarah, my heart is just beating really fast." Um, I think that is the point, babe. :)
I managed to finish the workout, but I didn't do every rep of each move. The jumping jacks were ok. The pushups were not so fun. I didn't mind the ab or arms. But what really killed me was the squats and lunges!! And I am FEELING them today. Seriously. When I got out of bed this morning, my legs were soooo sore!
I am fairly positive that there is NO WAY that I can do this DVD again tonight. So I am going to alternate with a "Walk Away the Pounds" DVD.

Good job, Sarah! Yes, squats and lunges are miserable. I've found, though, that if I walk or run after exercising my legs, it works some of the soreness out. By the way, I love your new blog look!

I just had to wish you luck with the 30 Day Shred. I bought Biggest Loser Cardio Max the other day and tried it the night before last, and I'm still walking around like an old person today! SOOOO sore!! I switched it up last night and did my Firm video for the ab sculpt. I'm going to try to do the BLCM again tonight... We'll see... Good luck!

Just found your blog through Leslie's and I had to comment when I saw the shred. It is SOO hard. I've found that if I skip a day it makes it SO much harder. Even when I was so sore I could barely walk, it was easier to just go ahead and do it! I just started her yoga video and it is SOOO hard, too. Good luck with it!
Haha! That is hilarious! I love it! LOL I am trying something different now. My knees just can't handle the jumping jacks anymore...oh, well.
