1 year pics

*this is NOT Lauren, but they kinda look alike! :)

I really need to have Lauren's 1 year pics made. I have thought of several options....call our photographer that did her newborn and 6 month pics, and have her take them. We also called this great photographer in Birmingham to see if she could do the pictures when we were there last weekend, but they were booked. So I'm not really sure what I want to do.

I really was hoping Lauren would start walking a little better so I could have them taken outside somewhere. We'll see what happens.

Then I got a phone call this morning to schedule Lauren's pics with Creative Touch photography. I completely forgot that our church's children's ministry was doing a fund raiser a few weeks ago. For $10, you could book a 30 minute session and receive a free 8x10 sepia print (no purchase necessary) I signed up, because the whole $10 went to the children's ministry, and I was getting some pictures made of Lauren and a free one; even if I didn't like any of the proofs.

So Saturday we are taking Lauren for her 30 minute session. This will not replace the 1 year photo shoot, but I am thinking it will be a good "practice run" to see how she does. Won't Lauren be cute in the little "antiquities" outfits?!

I am excited to see how she does. (Although I don't doubt there will be a lot of crying involved! She is not very cooperative when it comes to taking pics these days!!)
