Wow, this week has really flown by! When Jason was leaving for work this morning, I asked him twice, "are you sure it's Thursday?"
(I have a hard time keeping up with the days, being a SAHM!!)
As many of you know, Lauren has had no teeth up until the time she turned 1. Most other babies begin cutting teeth around 4-5 months, but my child didn't read any of the "normal baby" books! She does things her own way! :)
Everyone kept telling me, "don't worry, she'll probably just get them all at once!"
Um, they were right! Lauren cut her top middle and left "eye tooth" the week she turned 1. The next week, the bottom 2 chompers came in. Now, we are working on the other top middle and right "eye tooth" (or whatever you call them in dentist land).
AND, I can see white around her gums on the sides...when she lets me get that close to them!
Needless to say, this has caused Lauren to be a little cranky this week!
As in, she whines, and reaches for me to pick her up.... I pick her up, and she whines and wants to get down.
She reaches for her sippy cup, I hand it to her, she shakes her head "no" and then reaches for the sippy cup again.
And then, REPEAT!! All. Day.Long. :)
So I have adopted this mantra that I repeat over and over to myself...
It goes:
i love my child i love my child i love my child i love my child......... :)
Also, I am a big fan of small businesses. And whenever a friend starts a business of their own, I always try to be supportive and order things from them, etc. (Instead of purchasing from a big company or whatever)
So, Jason's cousin (well, I guess that makes her my cousin as well) has started selling Thirty One products. If you are not familiar with this company; it is a home party company that sells monogrammed gifts.
And if you know me, the only thing I love more than polka dots and toile is polka dots and toile that are monogrammed.
So, if you are interested in checking out their products, hosting a show, or ordering something for a gift (or yourself!!) hop on over to Heather's web site www.mythirtyone.com/heatherdavis
I am sorta excited for Lauren to go to school now one day because I will be ordering her a polka-dotted, monogrammed lunch box!! :)

Congrats on the new teeth, Lauren! And hang in there, Mommy! It's so funny how kids are so different. SK was an early teether, but she's STILL not walking! :) They're on their own timetable, aren't they?
Congrats to Lauren on all her new teeth. One perk is though it may be tough now, at least it is not spread out over months. Funny that you mentioned Thirty One. I just went to my first party a few weeks ago and I am supposed to get my bag on Sunday. I love monogramed things!
