We have lived in KY for 4 weeks and this is our 4th snow. Schools are closed (again)...I will have to consider teaching here one day! They get plenty of snow days! :)
Jason is home from work because the roads are not safe for his 45 minute drive with out 5+ inches of snow on the ground.
We did get outside this morning and build a snowman and let Lauren play in the snow. She actually wasn't scared of it this time!
snow on my car
Lauren and her snow spoon
our snowman "Bama" (obviously he is having some trouble with his left eye!!)
And yes, I realize he has no arms...Jason wouldn't let me pick branches off our little tiny tree in front of the apartment!
Lauren tasting the snow cream that we made.
She LOVED it!!
It's been a fun day so far!
New words I have heard Lauren saying this week:
"go!" - go
"wevy" -ready
"cow" - cow
And she is saying a few 2 word phrases! (which I sorta panicked about last week, you know!) She has said, "no eat" "it's stuck" and "hi daddy". (for some reason she has been saying this to me lately as well.) Ha!

Snow days are one of the perks but here in Ohio they are trying to take them away so we have to make all of them up. Enjoy the snow, we have lots here too!
Snow cream...fun! I've not made that yet, but with the snow we keep getting (not as much as you!), I might have to try it ;) The teachers/students here in NC have to make up snow days after the first couple, and it cuts into their spring break. YUCK!
