Remember when I posted about my fear of Lauren never talking in 2 word (or more) sentences? Well....all you moms who told me not to worry were right! Lauren's vocabulary has suddenly just exploded! She talks constantly. There are still many times that I have no idea what she is saying, but she usually can get her point across one way or the other.
This was our conversation the other day during breakfast.....
Lauren: "Mommy?" "Mommy!?" (I didn't answer right away. Ha!)
Me: "Yes, Lauren?"
Lauren: "Where Daddy doh?" (go)
Me: "Daddy is at work, Lauren. He'll be home soon."
Lauren: "Wowk?" "Daddy wowk."
Me: "Yes, Daddy is at work."
Lauren: "Mommy?"
Me: "Yes, Lauren?"
Lauren: "Where Daddy doh?" :)
I'm hoping that she is just curious and doesn't have some sort of complex- because everytime one of us leaves the room, she asks the other one "where did we go". For example, yesterday, I walked into the kitchen from the living room (they are connected!), but she couldn't see me and I heard her say "Where Mommy doh?" "Where doh, Mommy?"
And now she "calls" us. She puts her hands around her mouth and yells, "Mommy" or "Daddy" if she can't see us. She calls Jason several times a day... while he's at work! So funny!

I laughed SO HARD! I CANNOT WAIT to see her this weekend and hear her talk! I wish mine talked...She just drools.
Willa's newest trick is "Was Dis?" (What's this) and then inventories the contents of the house at least 5 times.
