new addiction

As some of you know, couponing has become a new addiction for me. (Perhaps this is why I have not updated my blog before now?? Too much time spend on couponing??!!)  Haha!

Once I realized just how much money I could save by using coupons (paired with sales!), I was hooked.  I will share a few of the best deals that I have been able to score in the past 2 weeks....

*All Liquid Detergent (32 load) $1.99

*Welch's 100% grape juice (64 oz) $1 (regular price $4+) !!

*Armor All (Jason uses it in the cars) $0.37

*Shout Stain spray $0.22

*Schick Hydro Razors $0.99 (regularly price at $6.99+... I bought 11 and paid the same as 2 full price!)

*Kraft Deluxe Homestyles mac n chz 2 for $1.00! (price $2-$3.99 each) I had a $1.00 off and a FREE coupon!

*100 cal. pack Kraft Cheese $0.76

*Starkist tuna pouches $0.43

*Bandaids $0.27

*KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce $0.42

*Nestle Quick (Lauren drinks this in her milk everyday) $0.83 (usually $1.50-$2.50)

*Oscar Meyer hot dogs $1.00

*Yo-plus yogurt 4 pk. $0.68

Huggies Baby Wipes tubs (64-84 ct) $0.99 (reg. $2.16 each!)

Kashi cereal $0.99-$1.50 (reg. $2.99-$3.99)

*Betty Crocker Warm Delights $0.13

Colgate Total toothpaste (travel size) $0.22

*Nivea Body Wash FREE (had $4.00 off coupons, sale price $3.99!)

*Vitamin Water FREE (sale price $1.00, had $0.50 coupons which Kroger doubles....)

Now, I could try to explain how I got all of these great deals, but I will just link to some great blogs and sites that do all the work for you.  Fortunately for me, my town has 2 Krogers, 2 Walmarts, 2 CVS, 2 Walgreens, etc... and they are all within about 10-15 minutes from me, so I can swing by on the way friom the park or wherever with Lauren.  We are usually in and out within 10 minutes, because I am just buying the sale items.  I don't make a "speical" trip for just 1 or 2 things, because that is not cost-effective when it comes to gas!!

Here are a few of the blogs that I love.....these can get fairly repetitive, so I mostly just check the 1st 2 and last 2. Southern Savers and Hip 2 Save update MANY times per day, so it's a good idea to check them out frequently so you don't miss great deals!!

Also, Collin, who writes Hip 2 Save has several videos on YouTube where she has posted many of her shopping trips using coupons.  Just go to www.Youtube.com and type "Hip 2 Save" into the search box and it should pull them up.  She is hilarious!  And for those of you who are new to couponing, she gives great examples for how to coupon.

Southern Savers (covers stores in the south)

The Krazy Coupon Lady (and my friend, Dorothy, just emailed me the link to the Krazy Coupon Lady's alpahbetical list of printable coupons!! Awesome!!)

I Heart CVS (obviously covers CVS deals)

Totally Target (obviously covers Target deals)

There is a Walmart one that I like, but can't find the address right now, so I will update later when I do! :)

**I am no means an expert on couponing, but I do love saving money, so if anyone who reads this has ??'s, I'll try to answer them the best I can! :) **

Great deals. I have just gotten into couponing and it is addicting. Two weeks ago we were able to get the Huggies Wipes free because of a sale plus the coupon. My niece has wipes for the next year.
