This morning we took Lauren to Pumpkin Town in downtown Athens. Now, Athens is not that big of a city, but this was a pretty fun little event. The downtown square was blocked off, so all you had to do was park and walk.
Here is Lauren getting ready to go....appropriately wearing her "Lil' Pumpkin" shirt! :)
We saw lots of booths with arts and crafts, lots of local business tents and tables and even a petting zoo! Lauren LOVES animals, so we paid our $2.00 and checked it out.
They had some bunnies, a baby cow, goats, a monkey like the one from "Friends" (capuchin?) and also some geese, pigs, and a cat (Lauren's favorite!)
But the best part of the day, was when we got her a free balloon from the DPA! She was so excited!
We also grabbed lunch from a new business "2 Dudes BBQ" and it was really good! For dessert, we all shared a MOPS bake sale purchase...rocky road brownie! :)
It was such a fun day!

:-) we definitely have pictures like that from Ryland's first balloon. until then she would only point them out but never want one! looks like a fun day for Lauren.
